As a small family business, we are able to implement our philosophy consistently, as we personally take care of every step in the vineyards, in the cellar and also in marketing. Our wines are deliberately handmade. They are the result of the exciting interplay between humans and nature. We want to meet the demands of nature as individually as possible and reflect its complexity in our wines:
In our vineyards, we focus on sustainable cultivation and yield reduction. To ensure that only the best grapes find their way into our wines, we harvest exclusively by hand. We preserve the resulting variety of aromas in the cellar using gentle, traditional methods and, most importantly, by giving our wines time.
We are aware of how complex and far-reaching this topic is. We are committed to sustainability in all areas of our work. Of course, this includes the vineyards, which we cultivate without herbicides and insecticides. But it also includes the careful use of resources. For example, we do not fill wines in heavy glass bottles and use plastic-free or recycled packaging materials wherever possible. We also focus on sustainable building materials when renovating our old farmhouse.
For us, working sustainably is not a goal, but a path. We are not perfect - but we are constantly trying to improve. We are happy to discuss this topic and listen to your ideas and thoughts.
